Colonsay Camping & Croft​

​

Our off-grid campsite, run by me, my two daughters Ella and Eve and my partner Chris, is the newest addition to our 15-acre working croft.

​

The girls and I set up our new life on the beautiful Isle of Colonsay back in 2014 having spent many happy years holidaying here. I had plans of a simpler, more fulfilled life where the girls could enjoy growing up in the freedom of the great outdoors surrounded by our friendly little community.

​

Even all those years ago, I nurtured the dream of one day being able to create a wild campsite on our croft where guests could escape their busy lives and enjoy quality time together in the spectacular beauty of our unspoilt island.

​

So, for me, our little campsite overlooking the ocean is literally a dream come true and it wouldn’t have been possible without funding from Argyll and Bute Council Development and Economic Growth team, and project support from Colonsay Community Development Company, for which we are incredibly grateful.
